Poker Enlightenment
In conjunction with Mindsmack.com, this site was created using the Xaraya site framework to ensure that the broad range of required cross-functionalities could be met. This site employs an architecture that relies heavily on DynamicData module Objects for storage of serial object types, like the various flavors of the Roles module used to provide member profiles. Advanced use of template "page" files allows XML communication between the site framework and various Poker applications written in Flash, etc. Overall, this site is expected to quickly become a powerful hub in the online gambling community.

As a successful stand-up comedian and author, Aaron Karo was ready to take his entrepreneurial flair online when he brought the idea for Ruminations to Mindsmack.com. There, we were able to establish a powerful social sharing site that very rapidly proved the value of good hosting on a dedicated server. Ruminations are short, humorous or anecdotal posts about daily life. Other members are allowed to "Gourmet" these Ruminations in a fashion that readers may be familiar with from sites like Digg. Either way, the humor is ever-changing, based on member submission and reader opinion, with only the most recent additions being featured on the homepage.
