How do I make changes to an article that has already been submitted without publishing it?
Once a story is submitted, it can only be edited when it is published. Although a "preview" button is available, the changes made are not stored in the database, just carried over to the next page. If you do not publish the story, changes made with "preview" will be lost. To facilitate changing articles before they are published, program them for publication at a later date. This allows you a deadline to make changes by before they are viewed by the public.
What are Programmed Articles?
When an article is programmed, it is set for publication at a future date. It cannot be read by visitors until then. This is useful for timing publication and allows an article to be published (and editable) prior to actual viewing by visitors.
