Do I need to create an account in labAccounting for each user that wants to have access to their purchase history? by 2
No. If you are using labAccounting, then each IPN transaction will be automatically recorded in a unique account for each customer. If the customer does not yet have an account, then labAccounting will create one for them during the IPN confirmation.
If a customer purchases a download as an unregisterer user, how do they access their files? by 2
If a purchase is made by an unregistered user, then their files will automatically be emailed to them as attachments using the email address for their account in PayPal. They will be directed to the labIPNtrigger module to view a list of their files after completing their purchase. The links provided for each file are the triggers to send their purchase to the PayPal email address provided. A customer must have access to the email account used to register on PayPal in order to access the files purchased under the same account. In this way, a customer is not even required to register on the initial eCommerce site in order to conduct business if they desire. Furthermore, if an unregistered user makes a purchase and then later registers on the site, they will still have the option to email the files to their their PayPal email account OR they can choose to download them the traditional way. By allowing customers to email their purchases to themselves, they do not even have to be at their own computer to purchase digital products. Many potential customers elect NOT to complete their transactions because they must either 1) register on a site they don't initial plan on returning to, or 2) are not at a location where it is convenient to save digital products, such as work, the airport, or the library, or just another office ("Hey, do you mind if I buy one of those on your machine too, when yer done?!"").
Using PayPalCart and labIPNtrigger with labDossier and labAccounting, what happens if someone makes a second or later purchase using a different PayPal account and email? by 2
A second account will be created for that user. They will be able to access both their [assumed] business and personal accounts and purchase histories via labAccounting. Both may be assigned to either the same or different contact listings in labDossier, should the customer wish to keep their business and personal transactions separate. Furthermore, any additional PayPal or purchase accounts will create new accounts in labAccounting, all accessible by the site users that are the assigned owner of each account.
