Case Summary: As a successful stand-up comedian and author, Aaron Karo was ready to take his entrepreneurial flair online when he brought the idea for Ruminations to Mindsmack.com. There, we were able to establish a powerful social sharing site that very rapidly proved the value of good hosting on a dedicated server. Ruminations are short, humorous or anecdotal posts about daily life. Other members are allowed to "Gourmet" these Ruminations in a fashion that readers may be familiar with from sites like Digg. Either way, the humor is ever-changing, based on member submission and reader opinion, with only the most recent additions being featured on the homepage.
